Ethics and corpus distributors

Corpus distributors may face ethical issues of their own. For example, consider that you had built a corpus of texts exploring the language of a radical terrorist group. Would you be content to make your analyses available to the security forces of the country in which the group operated, to help them develop a counter-propaganda campaign? You might or you might not, but there are undoubtedly ethical issues to be considered, especially if you had worked with the radical group to gather the material on the understanding that the texts would not be given to third parties for whatever purpose.
