LOCATIONS UWA's Crawley site is a leafy, riverside campus just 10 minutes from the centre of Perth. The Albany campus allows students to experience regional WA in a town central to one of the planet's biodiversity hotspots.
COURSE STRUCTURE The world-class course structure at UWA prepares graduates for success in a rapidly changing world. UWA offers undergraduate degrees in Arts, Commerce, Design and Science, as well as a Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) for high-achieving students.
Within these undergraduate degrees, students can choose from more than 65 majors. Students can then undertake postgraduate professional degrees in fields including Architecture, Engineering, Law and Medicine, among many others.
Students interested in one of these professional degrees can apply for a Direct Pathway which combines undergraduate and postgraduate studies, setting them up for their chosen career at the start of their university studies.

SPECIAL FEATURES The most recent Academic Ranking of World Universities placed UWA 87th in the world. The same ranking has UWA 25th in the world for Life and Agricultural Sciences, the highest ranking in Australia.
In The Good Universities Guide 2016, UWA scored five stars for student demand, graduate starting salaries, research intensity and research grants. UWA's disciplines of Psychology, Education and Earth and Marine Sciences have been placed in the world's top 40 institutions in 2016 according to the QS World University Rankings by Subject.
According to the 2014 Australian Graduate Survey, more bachelor degree graduates from UWA who were seeking employment were able to get their preferred job than graduates from other universities in the state.

SPECIAL ENTRY UWA welcomes a diverse student group and offers alternative entry schemes. These allow students to be considered for entry to UWA if their results in one of the university's standard entry pathways are not sufficient for them to gain admission to a course. The entry schemes - UWay, Broadway, Fairway, Indigenous, mature-age and special consideration - encourage students with the potential to study at tertiary level to do so.
