Australia has eased into its campaign at the Paris Sevens rugby tournament with a 38-0 thrashing of minnows Brazil on day one. Brazil -started relatively strongly in -defence, but ultimately weight of possession told as Australia ran away with the game after three tries in each half. Coach Andy Friend says Australia will have to perform better on day two, with tougher matches against England and South -Africa on the schedule. In the other game in Australia's Pool C, South Africa comfortably saw off England 24-5.
