Saturday, ANZ Stadium, 8pm.
TV: Live on Fox Sports.
Possible teams:
Australia (4-3-3): Ryan; McGowan, Sainsbury, Wright, Smith; Jedinak, Mooy, Rogic; Leckie, Giannou, Kruse.
Greece (4-3-3): Karnezis; Papastathopoulos, Moras, Torosidis; Maniatis, Tachtsidis, Samaris, Holebas; Aravaidis, Diamantakos, Christodoulopoulos.
Three to watch.
1. Tom Rogic (Aus): The Celtic star showed just why some of Europe's elite are monitoring him with an impressive showing against England. Should he start on Saturday, he'll again be the Socceroos' spark behind the forward line.
2. Lazaros Christodoulopoulos (Gre): The Italian-based attacking midfielder will likely be the main creative outlet. An inexperienced attacking lineup means the onus on dictating the forwards falls on Christodoulopoulos.
3. Aaron Mooy (Aus): A man on the cusp of making a move to Europe will pull the strings for the Socceroos. He has an incredible passing range and a sense of creativity few in Australia possess.
Key battle.
Tom Rogic v Andreas Samaris: Two tall frames, one of the creative and fleet-footed Rogic and the other of Benfica's Samaris, could prove one of the more decisive on the park on Saturday night.
In the dugout.
Ange Postecoglou: A sentimental clash it may appear as Postecoglou prepares to coach against the nation of his birth but the Australian boss he hasn't shifted focus away from hardening his squad for World Cup qualification.
Michael Skibbe: The German in the Greek dugout is hoping to change the long-held defensive tag associated with the nation.
