A lovely wine that shows why there should be more of the variety in WA. Has depth and fruit intensity with good persistence on the palate and a crisp, light, melony, apple- crumble like character. A little lemon zest for zip and a crisp acid complete a very good current drinking wine. 92100

Vinaceous Reverend V Margaret River rose 2016 ($24)
This is a terrific wine that has texture and fruit. No oak but it has great fruit intensity and depth. It's light and keen with a long flavoursome palate held with crisp acid and a degree of finesse. 92100 (Best drinking: Now to 2019. Alc: 12.5%)
Vinaceous Reverend V WBX Margaret River 2015 semillon sauvignon blanc ($24)
This takes the standard blend up a notch. It gets three months in oak, some of it new French. It has a lovely aromatic and light herbaceous character with a touch of lemon rind well to the fore. Texturally beautiful. Very attractive wine. 93100

Vinaceous Reverend V Mount Barker 2014 syrah ($24)
This is a very good wine. It's all Mt Barker fruit.
There is great depth and power here with a
distinctive graphite character. Has texture and fruit depth with fine grainy tannins and deep powerful fruit delivered with typical Mt Barker finesse and elegance. Has a cool character but not
too lean that it lacks depth. I love this one. 93100

Vinaceous Clandestine McLaren Vale 2015 grenache ($40)
This is a terrific grenache, excellent wine with wonderful texture. It's traditionally open fermented. It has a lovely medium-bodied, juicy texture with excellent fruit. It has
such a velvety smooth feel with delicious flavours showing that typical grenache rose-petal character. 94100
