â-  MICHAEL Winslow says he loves the Australian humour and way of life. The comedian, known as the human sound effects machine with 10,000 voices, will be back in Australia this month for an extensive stand-up tour. 
Winslow (below), who shot to fame after his appearance in Police Academy, was last here in 2014.
"Back in the beginning, I used to like guys like Rodney Rude," he said. "Australians have an influence everywhere.
"I was just in Latvia and Estonia and bumped into an Australian. "It's like a familiar home when I'm there." Winslow is promising "a bit of everything" during his shows.His first of four Melbourne shows is on   August 12 in Doncaster.
