A GREENS volunteer was allegedly bitten on the hand in a tussle with a Liberal supporter.
The struggle erupted in the Victorian seat of Higgins, where Greens candidate Jason Ball could unseat Small Business Minister Kelly O'Dwyer. 
Greens branch co-treasurer Michael McCormack was keeping overnight watch on election posters with a female colleague when two men, believed to be Liberal supporters, approached their car on Friday night.
After a dispute began, the woman photographed the men and a struggle erupted for her phone, Mr McCormack said. "The phone got dropped ... and she said 'I think he bit me'." Ms O'Dwyer's spokeswoman denied the incident took place. Police are investigating.Meanwhile, Pirate Party volunteers were reportedly drunk and "falling down" at a school polling station in Brisbane. They left before police arrived.
