We are finally at the end of the longest campaign in living memory, and I'm sure many readers are relieved it's over.
Today, you'll finally get to have a say on the future of your great State.
Every election is a choice between two competing visions of the future.
My vision for Western Australia is for a strong economy with well-paid jobs. It's for good schools and good hospitals. It's for an economy that rewards hard work but doesn't leave middle and working-class families behind.
I don't buy the argument that WA is in decline. I believe you have a great future ahead of you - and I believe Labor has the best plan to help you get there.
I've visited WA a lot during this campaign. Whenever I'm there, people want to know where the jobs of the future will come from.
Our future economic success depends on how skilled we are. Growth will come from high-skill industries with high-wage jobs.
That's why Labor's plan to properly fund schools, TAFE and universities is the right economic decision for Western Australia.
My government will fully fund the Gonski reforms, delivering an additional $330 million in needs-based funding for local schools in 2018 and 2019 alone.
This will mean your kids can get the best possible education in well-resourced classrooms from quality teachers.
And we will also support local TAFEs and universities. Under Labor, young people won't have to fork out $100,000 for a university education.
I know there is nothing more important to parents than the health of your kids. One of the best things about Australia is our affordable healthcare system, which is underpinned by Medicare.
A vote for Labor is a vote to save Medicare.
Labor will end Malcolm Turnbull's freeze of the Medicare rebate. This will mean a typical family in WA with two children will be about $400 a year better off.
I will make sure it is your Medicare card and not your credit card that ensures you and your family can get the health care they deserve.
My government will also properly fund local hospitals and reduce waiting lists. Under a Labor Government, hospitals in WA will receive about $220 million more than they would under the Liberals over the next four years.
When I hold town hall and community forums in WA, locals raise with me the poor state of infrastructure in the State.
That's why Labor's plan for WA includes investing in the infrastructure the State needs to drive growth and create new jobs for local people.
We will build the Perth Metronet and create 4000 new jobs along the way.
We'll fund road and infrastructure upgrades, like the Wanneroo Road and Roe Highway overpasses, and the High Street Fremantle upgrade.
And we'll deliver a better National Broadband Network for thousands of West Australian homes and businesses.
These are just some of my positive policies for Western Australia. And we can pay for them because we've made hard decisions about what our priorities are.
West Australians need a Government in Canberra that is investing in them and the future of the State - not someone who would put banks before people.
When you line up to cast your vote today, please think about the issues that matter most to you, and who has the better policies to help you and your family get ahead.
Who will protect Medicare and ensure your family still has access to bulk-billing?
Who will make sure your children get a great education, with proper resources and quality teachers?
Who will invest in job-creating infrastructure that WA needs, like the Perth Metronet?
Who will look out for middle and working-class families, by protecting household budgets and penalty rates?
The answer is Labor.
My government will fully fund the Gonski reforms.
