G'DAY MATE: Knock on your neighbour's door and invite them around to join in the celebrations.
STRESS LESS:Use disposable cups, plates and cutlery, and clean up as you go. DECORATE:Go for gold - well, green and gold - and decorate with Australian flags, boxing kangaroos and streamers.
WEAR:Put on your Australia Day singlet, boardies, bikinis and some thongs, and don't forget to wrap our flag around your shoulders as a cape because you're a legend. Remember to wear a hat and slip-slop-slap, but watch out for those zinc tan lines.
FOOD:Kick off the day with some vegemite on toast because it's going to be a big one. By lunchtime be ready to heat up the barbie and throw on some shrimps, snags and lamb. For a sweet treat in the afternoon, pull out the pavlova and open a packet of lamingtons.
DRINK:Stay hydrated and fill up the Esky with water and your South Australian favourites like Coopers, West End and bottles of local wine and bubbly. But remember to drink in moderation.
MUSIC: Tune in to Triple J's Hottest 100 from 11.30am on radio or streamed online. The annual countdown of the top 100 songs of 2015 as voted by listeners, will include songs from South Australian artists like the Hilltop Hoods and Sia.PLAY:There's nothing better than starting a traditional game of backyard cricket, then jump in the pool to cool off with an inflatable thong.
