THE LURE DYNA Double One and Dalgetty are among the drawcards in tonight's heats of the Group 1 Australian Cup (525m) at The Meadows, as the $1.3 million Australian Cup Carnival continues.
Dyna Double One drops back to sprinting after an incredible four-week stint over the middle distances during which he broke track records at Sandown Park (595m), The Meadows (600m) as well as winning last weekend's Group 1 Invitational, the Rookie Rebel (600m).
Dalgetty is also in scintillating form having won the Group 1 Temlee (525m) at last week's opening night of the Australian Cup Carnival when running 29.42sec, less than a length outside Allen Deed's track record.
All eight heat winners will make it through to next Saturday night's $355,000 Australian Cup Final.
Meanwhile, four heats of the Group 1 Australian Superstayers (725m) will also be run tonight, with the top two placegetters to contest the $145,000 final on Australian Cup night.
Every race at The Meadows tonight will carry a $2500 First 4 Jackpot, while everyone on course at The Meadows tonight and at next Saturday night's Australian Cup will go into the draw to win a new Jeep, new caravan or a holiday voucher worth $45,000.

Tassie raider gets his big chance TRAINER Ted Medhurst hopes to win his second Australian Cup, as his star sprinter Keune is set to compete in one of tonight's heats at The Meadows.
Tasmanian Medhurst won the Australian Cup with Buckle Up Wes in 2014, and says Keune is of similar ability.
"I would say Keune is about three lengths off what Buckle Up Wes was when he won the Australian Cup, so he has a lot of ability," Medhurst said.
Check out greys on adoption day WHILE The Meadows will host a spectacular night of greyhound racing this evening, tomorrow it will host an adoption day on behalf of the Greyhound Adoption Program from 1pm to 3pm.
About 30 greyhounds will be available for adoption on the day, however the event isn't purely for people ready to adopt right now as they can simply come along to interact with greyhounds and find out more about them as pets.
This is a great opportunity interact with former racing greyhounds as staff from the Greyhound Adoption Program will be on hand to answer any questions.
Among the greyhounds up for adoption tomorrow will be Pendles, who is sure to be snapped up by a Collingwood supporter, and Hot Carbon (Misty), who won eight races for a syndicate led by AFL identity, Craig Hutchison.Registration is essential and can be made at gap.grv.org.au.
