THE musical version of hit 1990 film Ghost is coming to Australia. Ghost the Musical will open at the Regent Theatre next   February for a limited season, having opened in the UK four years ago before finding success on Broadway. 
The $10 million show with a score by the Eurythmics' Dave Stewart has already been seen by more than a million people.
Set in New York, Ghost the Musical is a fantasy where Sam - played by Patrick Swayze in the original movie - is trapped as a ghost between this world and the next, unable to leave girlfriend Molly. The film brought Swayze and Demi Moore more star power, and their love scene involving a pottery wheel is among the most celebrated moments in film.Tickets go on sale on   September 21.
