Changes at clearing and broking house Pershing Australia are continuing apace this year, with the latest departure being William Slack, who is headed to listed firm GBST.
Slack is due to start at GBST in December in a program and project management role, according to sources. His departure follows the exit in May of Pershing's local finance chief, Tony Lynch, and prior to that, the head of the local operations, Craig Mason - who is now chief at APP Securities.
Slack was most recently the project director at Pershing and reported to new chief Rob Forbes. Slack, had an almost seven-year stint at Pershing, and its predecessor firm, which he helped establish with Mason.
Adding to those departures are at least a handful of other employees at the firm.
Pershing also picked up, like other clearing firms, some of the equities and options clearing business ceded by failed stockbroker BBY.
Finally, Deloitte Corporate Finance is running a sale process for Archer Growth's Team Moto, as revealed by Street Talk Online on Thursday.
