Caltex Australia will establish new Perth headquarters in Jandakot City after signing a 10-year, 1000 sq m lease for a portion of level two at the Sabre Crescent office building. The company sold its current headquarters in Kwinana. The property, with 55 car spaces, is leased on a gross annual rent of $425 a sq m. CBRE's Lachlan Lewis negotiated on the space, which has been vacant since 2008.
Toshiba gets Industria siteToshiba will amalgamate three Brisbane sites into new HQ at Brisbane Technology Park after striking a 10-year office lease deal through CBRE's Michael Skarparis and Mel Pikos. It will lease the 1525 sq m property at 7 Clunies Ross Court from Industria REIT. The level two property comes with 63 car spaces and costs a gross annual rent of $595,130. 
Big leap for Latitude
Trampoline park operator Latitude entered the Adelaide market, opening its second Australian outlet at 3-15 Fosters Road in Greenacres. The site is the former Sam's Warehouse premise and it will have trampoline free jump areas and obstacle courses across 3211 sq m. CBRE's Dallas Sears negotiated the five-year deal for landlord The Warehouse Greenacres Joint Venture at a net annual rent of $175 a square metre.
First State takes over
Not-for-profit superannuation fund First State Super will take over a 277 sq m office vacated by NAB after it agreed terms on a new lease for the property at 502 Canterbury Road in the Melbourne suburb of Forest Hill. Savills' Michael Di Carlo, Jeremy Marmur and Jock Thomson declined to comment on the rent but sources said it was about $150,000 a year on a five-year term. The lessor is Melbourne investor.
Cohen gets boutique office
National property buyer's advocacy group, Cohen Handler, has secured a new boutique office in a penthouse at 52 Park Street in South Melbourne at a net annual rent of $582 a square metre. Savills' Tim Sugar leased the 80 sq m space atop the 15-level Essence residential tower for landlord Milbex. It has a lavish fit-out and balconies with views to Port Phillip Bay and Albert Park as well as polished parquetry flooring.
BankVic to get new home
Public services bank, BankVic has leased a 400-sq m office at Building 4, 540 Springvale Road, in the Melbourne suburb of Glen Waverley for five years from property investor Marks Henderson. The rent was confidential but industry sources say the area commands a gross annual rent of about $400 a square metre. JLL's Michael Simonds and Natalie Meredith negotiated the ground-floor lease for the bank which was moving to be closer to the Police Force training in Glen Waverley.
Chinese meds for Fitzroy
Shen Chinese Medicine Centre opened another outlet on a newly leased ground floor shop at 690 Burke Road in the Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy. Fitzroys' Adam Lester and Michael Ryan negotiated the deal on the 81-sq m space for five years with options. The practice will pay an annual rent of $52,000 to a private investor landlord.
Software AG renews
Software AG has signed five more years at 607 St Kilda Rd, Melbourne with its private landlord through Colliers International's Vincent Tran, at a gross annual rent of $420 a sq m on the level-5, 250 sq m office.
Drake expands
Recruitment agency, Drake International has secured a 340-sq m office at Unipark in Clayton at Suite 56B, 195 Wellington Road to expand its business in south-east Melbourne. The lease with a private landlord is on an annual rent of $295 a square metre for six years. Colliers International's Ash Dean handled the deal
Allworth gets new HQ
Allworth Homes has new headquarters at unit 9, 9-11 South Street in the Sydney suburb of Rydalmere it leased from a private landlord at a net annual rent of $173,100. The 1154 sq m office and warehouse has exposure to South Street. GJS Property's Angus Grier negotiated the five-year deal.
