Solomon Lew sold his $108.5 million stake in Australian Pharmacuetical Industries on Monday morning.
The line of 60.28 million shares changed hands at $1.80 each just after the market opened.
Lew's SL Nominees Pty Ltd was API's second largest shareholders, according to the company's annual report lodged last Thursday, with 58.1 million shares worth 11.9 per cent of the company.
Sydney stockbroker Blue Ocean Equities did the trade. Lew is a long-time client of Blue Ocean and its executive chairman Brent Potts.
It's understood the stock went to a handful of institutional investors.
