Former sex discrimination commissioner Elizabeth Broderick can now add 2016 NSW Australian of the Year to her roll-call of achievements. Recognised for her work as a social change innovator, the erstwhile Australian Defence Force adviser and architect of the Male Champions of Change initiative was given the accolade at an awards ceremony at Sydney's Museum of Contemporary Art on Monday evening.
