Lunch: Australia 4-486

Key batsmen
Adam Voges, Mitch Marsh
With Warner falling early on day two, Adam Voges and Mitch Marsh provided the entertainment. Voges was given a warm ovation when he stepped out for his maiden Test on his home ground and provided a polished knock. Marsh took to spinner Mark Craig, belting him over the long off fence, and then to the square leg boundary, off successive deliveries.
Key bowler
Trent Boult
After a woeful Friday, spearhead Trent Boult finally showed something with the ball. He had Warner caught in the slips and the smooth Voges caught behind. His line across the right-handed batsmen was disciplined for the most part. The Caps served up more bouncers than they had done - a tactic which contributed to slowing the run rate.
