AUSTRALIAN beauty Monika Radulovic was thrilled to finish in the top five of yesterday's controversial Miss Universe pageant which twice crowned a winner. 
The Sydney-based model stunned on the catwalk in Las Vegas during each category, unveiling a Dame Edna-inspired national costume to impress judges and social media viewers early on.
Radulovic, 25, supported by fiancee Alesando Ljubicic in the crowd, said she was ecstatic with the result and her fourth placing.
"I'm so happy. It was incredible, I'm so proud of how I went. I came to be myself, and I answered the questions really honestly and felt great about it all," said the Bosnian-Australian model, whose family came to Australia as refugees.Radulovic said she felt for Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez, who was crowned and celebrated on stage before host Steve Harvey realised he had called the wrong name. Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach was then crowned the winner.
