MOHAMMAD AL-KHAFAJI, 26, Gilles Plains Mohammad came to Australia as a refugee from Iraq. Since graduating from university, he has become a business analyst with Bridgestone Australia. He's been a tireless volunteer with a range of organisations working towards social cohesion and intercultural understanding. Mohammad has been a volunteer with national organisation Welcome to Australia since its inception in 2011 and has recently been appointed as its new CEO. 
DALJIT RAO, 55, Beaumont Arriving from Fiji as a 14-year-old, Daljit has always had a passion to succeed. She was the first female general manager of a heritage CBD hotel chain, the Grosvenor, at just 31. Since then she has launched her own organisation, Visionplanet, providing academic and career counselling to international students and migrants.
