STACEY COPAS, 36,Littlehampton An accident left Stacey a quadriplegic at 12 years old. Instead of slowing down, she picked up the pace with an array of achievements including running for parliament, training people with disabilities and inspiring others as a motivational speaker. Stacey has recently launched her own book to help others overcome adversity and beat the odds. 
ROS MAHONEY, 42, South Plympton Ros Mahoney has lived with multiple sclerosis for more than 10 years, using her own illness to inspire others. She runs a successful course teaching life skills to the disabled and volunteers with the homeless and troubled children in her community. With her help, a boy's life was turned around from drug addiction on the streets to study and a job.
CHER NICHOLSON, 65, Colonel Light GardensCher Nicholson has lost her sight, and has kidney disease and bone issues. She has made it her mission to ensure people with disabilities are treated fairly. She developed the SA Supported Decision Making Modem and presented at international conferences for the United Nations and Amnesty International.
