AUSTRALIA A has finally lost a match on its tour of India.
Unfortunately for Usman Khawaja's men, that loss came in the final of the tri-series against India A.
The hosts won the match by four wickets, beating Australia A with 39 balls to spare.
After dominating the tournament, Australia A's batsmen came up short in the final, scoring a disappointing 9-226 after electing to bat first.
"We played beautiful cricket, we were consistently the best team here but not today," said Khawaja.Khawaja finished the series as the third highest run scorer (267 at an average of 66.75).
