Some might be underwhelmed, even alarmed by the Silver Ferns' form since beating Australia.
Jamaica and Malawi have given New Zealand big scares in recent days, despite reputation suggesting the Silver Ferns ought to have won those games comfortably.
Talk to vice-captain Laura Langman, however, and you'll hear that their Netball World Cup campaign is going to plan. Sure, there are always areas to be improved upon but it's hard not to be satisfied when you boast a 5-0 record.
"People can get caught up in comparing the score margins, but it's a tournament and the fact you're getting the job done is a tick," Langman said. "I don't have much regard for the scoreline. The main thing is you get the job done."
In their first three Pool A matches, which included the 52-47 victory over Australia, New Zealand's goal percentage was 176.1. Australia, who finished second in the pool, were at 203.
The Silver Ferns now top Pool E and have a goal percentage of 115. The Diamonds lead Pool G and are going at 162. It means that when Australia win, they win by more, which means they have been more convincing. After Uganda on Friday, New Zealand expect England to be their semi-final opponent on Saturday before meeting Australia in Sunday's tournament decider.
That left Thursday as an opportunity for some down time that Langman said was much-needed.
