4 X SURVEYING SHIPS, COASTAL Fitted out for surveying work in shallower, more constrained waters.
2 X SURVEYING SHIPS Used for surveys to prepare nautical charts, vital for navigation at sea 2 X SUPPORT SHIPS Replenishment oilers used for refuelling and resupplying at sea.
6 X GUIDED MISSILE SUBMARINES Adelaide-built Collins Class submarines, designed for silent surveillance and defence using highly complex combat system ANCILLARY CRAFT Landing craft, inflatable boats,Admiral's Barge and light utility boats.
